What is Pipe Relining and how does it work?
Pipe relining is a modern, non-invasive trenchless solution that restores damaged sewer or stormwater pipes from the inside, saving you time, money, and the hassle of digging up your property. We begin by conducting a CCTV drain camera inspection to examine the condition of your pipe. This enables us to determine what is causing the issue and pin-point its location. Once this is achieved, we start the rehabilitation process by using high pressure drain cleaning equipment to remove any tree roots, dirt or debris.
Next, we calculate the appropriate length the liner is to be cut. The liner is then, soaked with an environmentally friendly two-part epoxy resin and inserted into your drain. Once set in place, the liner conforms to the shape of the pipe, bonding to the internal surface. It is left to cure with hot water or UV light, causing it to harden and creating a new, seamless pipe within your existing drain. Lastly, we test our installation, ensuring operational function.
